Marina da Gama at a glance.

Marina Da Gama: One of Cape Town's best-kept secrets.

Established in 1972 and was named after the Portuguese Conqueror Vasco da Gama.

Initially, 1350 houses were on the plan, in the meantime, there may be around 1600 houses, many of them without direct access to the water.

With its white dwellings and blue skies reminiscent of a Greek hamlet.

Situated within walking distance to the popular Muizenberg beaches of False Bay.

Marina da Gama is a suburb of greater Muizenberg and is surrounded by its amazing waterways as an extension of the existing Zandvlei Nature Reserve.

The Marina offers a lifestyle like no other, you will find many fish species in the water, and more than 150 varieties of birds. You may see an African Fish Eagle or Great Flamingo. You might also see Cape Grys Bok, Otters, Porcupine or Water Mongoose.

Watersports like pedal boats, sailboats, surfboards, canoes etc. are permitted, as well as vessels driven by low-noise electric motors with up to 5HP.

Footbridges take you from one Island to another and play areas in between for kids and dogs to play.
